The Website of MVHA has a Brand New Design
With a very historically correct look!
As we began the design of our website one of the first things we decided was that navigation had to be easy and the look had to be from the era when Monte Vista was developed. We hope you will enjoy the finished product!
The look was carefully designed based on our research of colors from 1910-1920 which led us to a color palette that softly says "Monte Vista"-burgundy, similar to our iconic street signage and a soft green reminiscent of our beautiful trees.
The navigation is arranged so that you can easily find information on the Neighborhood (property improvements/restoration, maps, helpful documents), the Association (leadership, committees, information for homeowners and businesses) and Involvement (how to join, sponsor, volunteer) as well as helpful tabs across the top to include Events (mark your calendars!), Helpful Numbers (a great opportunity for our Business Members), News Blog (check out the latest Vistas news), Homes (an extensive database of homes by street, architecture, style from our 1998 National Register of Historic Places Application as well as Downloads (Vistas back to 2007, forms, by-laws, and guidelines to help manage your historic property). Check the home page often for upcoming events and news. We also have a brand new feature-a member's database where you can manage your membership, donations and directory listing.
We will be working on updates as time goes by and the MVHA Communications Committee is always open for content suggestions within our scope as a 501(c)(3) organization focused on Historic Preservation and Education.
Many thanks to DiBaggio Design Group for an outstanding job helping the MVHA create a website that so beautifully reflects the Monte Vista Historic District.
