COMMUNICATIONS
Chairperson - Julie Van Zandt and Eva Papay

This committee publishes and distributes the Association's quarterly newletter, VistaS, distributes important email communications (Security Alerts, Invitations, etc.), and manages this web site.


COMMUNITY AND SOCIAL
Chairperson - Linda Daniels

This committee is responsible for the various community and social events which Monte Vista members and residents enjoy each year.


HISTORIC PRESERVATION
Chairperson - Jane Lewis

The purpose of the Historic Preservation Committee is the preservation of the historic character and integrity of the Monte Vista Historical District. Its subcommittees include the Architectural Review Committee, the Historic Preservation Guidelines Committee, and the Historic Archives Committee.


INFRASTRUCTURE AND SERVICES
Chairpersons - Andres Gutierrez and Carol Estefan

This Committee interacts with the City of San Antonio on various services: Code Compliance, Public Safety (Fire, Police, and EMS), Solid Waste Disposal, Traffic & Engineering, Street and Drainage, and Animal Control. This Committee also monitors the neighborhood for code violations in the neighborhood.


MEMBERSHIP

This committee promotes membership in the organization, oversees the Block Captains, maintains membership records, and manages mailouts to members.


PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT
Chairperson - Jeff Blanchard

This group interacts with residents, businesses, institutions, adjacent neighborhoods, and City government on issues having the potential to affect Monte Vista.
