The Monte Vista Historical Association relies on its volunteers and select Committees to pursue its mission.
Each year, new leadership ushers in change. New committee members bring new ideas and revised goals. MVHA Committees function to manage difficult or technical issues for the Association, and others serve equally vital social purposes. Many members are inspired to serve multiple years on several committees. This experience is valuable to the organization. All who serve are appreciated and many members do much more than their part.
The Committees function to help MVHA execute its long term and short term goals. Dedicated friends and neighbors bring their skills and interests together to continue the legacy of Monte Vista.
This newly formed committee will be responsible for maintaining the MVHA relationship with the SAPL Board of Trustees, the SAPL Library Director and the Landa Branch Manager ensuring ongoing communications, planning of special joint events and quarterly reporting to the SAPL on MVHA activities at the Landa.
